Scholarships Available through the Adelanto Chamber
The Adelanto Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for Scholarships for the 2008 – 2009 school year.
Two $500.00 scholarships will be awarded to a deserving person who is a resident of Adelanto and will be attending a college or vocational school in Fall 2008. Scholarship funds may be used for technical or trade, vocational, 2 or 4 year college expenses.
The criteria for these scholarships will be based upon financial need, employment opportunities, personal or academic achievement and community service.
Applications are available on our website or in the Chamber office and must be received by May 21, 2008. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. Our winning applicants will be invited to attend a presentation luncheon as the Chamber’s guest to accept the scholarship and have their picture taken.
